We’ve been creating evocative fragrances here in Manchester since 1967. From humble beginnings as a small family start-up, we’ve become a renowned, independent fragrance house with loyal customers in over 100 countries worldwide. We’ve evolved in many ways over the years, but now with support from Givaudan – the world’s largest fragrance house, it marks the start of an exciting new era for Fragrance Oils.

Our collaborative approach, entrepreneurial spirit & reputation for honesty, integrity & flexibility, continues to be at the core of our business, but now with this added support & the brightest creative team in the UK, the future is bright!  As we embark on this next chapter of Scentmaking, our rebrand & fresh, new identity not only reflects our ambitions, but captures our strong heritage & human touch too.

Our Brand Evolution

To kick off the process and define our core values, we joined forces with inspirational brand strategy & design agency, Touch of Mojo. Their innovative & collaborative multi-stage approach, allowed us to gain insights from a variety of employees and customers across the globe. It became very clear from the outset, that it’s the passion and experience of our people that really does set us apart.

Our unique methodology engaged people individually at every level of the business, including long-standing customers. We unearthed some powerful insights & a real enthusiasm for change!

Our Brand Proposition

Our new identity brings vibrancy and contemporary flair – the perfect formula to distinguish our brand. Our iconic rose logo has been transformed with an abstract design that signifies our creativity, while the hand-sketched element reaffirms the human touch. Meanwhile, our new tag line, Scentmakers since 1967 highlights who we are and effortlessly embraces our heritage.
